In Freestyle II, participants will build on skills from Freestyle I, also known as front crawl. Each skill component will be broken down for shallow and deep water mastery. This course is a part of the Intermediate Series.
Prerequisite:
-Swim at least 15 yards with arm and leg coordination
A skills assessment must be completed before registering.
Course Objectives:
- Refine technique
- Build endurance for longer distances
- Advanced drills with equipment (pull buoy, kick board, and paddles)
-Swim at least 50 yards consecutively.
Who is course is for:
- People who want to swim back and forth across the pool for longer distances
